Crisp-Ellert Art Museum Brand & Exhibition Materials

Throughout seven years and dozens of exhibitions and artist residencies, the Crisp-Ellert Art Museum has maintained a consistent brand perspective within the ever-changing identities of events, resulting in countless posters, social images, banner ads, flyers, pop-up banners, rack cards, and even the stray postcard. The Crisp-Ellert Art Museum is a non-profit exhibition space that brings in internationally recognized artists to the small and eccentric town of St. Augustine, FL, and it’s important that the collateral matches the level of artists featured and the creativity of the art shown, without detracting from any of it. In 2022 the museum underwent a brand refresh, refining the letterhead, business cards, and revamping takeaways like bookmarks. As its presence in the northeast Florida art scene continues to grow and take root, so does the brand identity.

CONCEPTING - ART DIRECTION - EXECUTION

After the brand refresh in 2022, subtle changes and consistencies were pulled into focus for the look and feel, like differentiating the iconic three-lined E in the CEAM logo in a different color in each of its applications. Brand templates for artist residencies and look-ahead posts for the upcoming events were developed for ease of the director to utilize on her own, as well as a templated rack card to release with the seasons.
